After researching the impact of global warming on wild life in Antarctica, the students wanted to create a sculpture that depicted this. They came up with a range of designs and then collaboratively picked elements from each design to paint on the penguin. The oceans are surrounded by flames to represent greenhouse gases and raising temperatures. On the back, drawings represent some of the things that add to the polluted atmosphere. The green bush wraps around the penguin to represent how trees can help protect our planet.
