Lewis Bradford Consulting Engineers
Lewis Bradford Consulting Engineers is an award-winning South Island based Structural Engineering firm with a strong 18-year history.
Lewis Bradford is very proud of our recent track record in Canterbury and especially the performance of all our buildings following the Canterbury earthquake sequence. This has led to many exciting commissions, including Tūranga, the new central city library, a stunning asset for the future of Christchurch.
We were honoured to receive the award for Structures in Extreme Conditions at the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) awards in London in November 2019, for the structural design of Tūranga.
To be internationally recognised among so many outstanding projects and international colleagues was humbling, and great recognition for both Lewis Bradford and the city of Christchurch.
We have also worked on the earthquake repair of many buildings, including the Crowne Plaza, the Novotel Hotel, Ronald McDonald House, Les Mills Gym, the George Hotel and a number of buildings at Christchurch Girls’ High School, Christchurch Boys’ High School and St Bede’s College.
At the inaugural Engineering New Zealand ENVI awards of 2019 Lewis Bradford took home the ENVI award for Engineering Creativity and the ENVI award for Engineering Partnership; both for arts-based projects.
We are delighted to have this opportunity to partner with Wild In Art and help bring colour to the city.
