Helen Trappitt is a structural engineer and director at Lewis Bradford. She specialises in the structural design of large scale public art and is fascinated by the synergies of engineering and art. At Engineering New Zealand’s inaugural ENVI awards last November Helen’s projects were awarded the Engineering Creativity ENVI and the Engineering Partnership ENVI. Since the Canterbury Earthquakes Helen has been involved with a number of transitional projects as an artist, sponsor and engineer.
