Lisa Rudman Creative
Lisa is an illustrator and surface pattern designer, and is the founder of Lisa Rudman Creative. Her work typically incorporates black and white linework, bright pops of colours, and vibrant typography.
Lisa’s artwork is inspired by nature, patterns and positivity, and her portfolio reflects this. Each piece of art created shows a sense of the unique vibes of the places she visits and the experiences she has. Her work begins with an idea, a sketch, or a photo. From there, she captures the idea using a variety of mediums, but her two most popular styles are black ink illustrations and watercolour paintings.
Lisa emigrated to New Zealand in 2019 and made it her mission to experiment with art, connect with others, and build a brand and business around her art.
When asked to illustrate Mophead on the penguin she was very excited about the project and honoured to be working with an amazing poet and author. “Selina is just incredible. I love Mophead and the story it portrays. I love how it shows us that our differences make us unique and help us to stand out. We should embrace them and not be scared of being different. I’m really looking forward to seeing the Mophead penguin on the trail and seeing how people interact with it”.
Lisa collaborated with author and illustrator, Selina Tusitala Marsh and created the Mophead penguin.
